It was a fun trip, except for the rain! Sara & Jack opted to stay in the new Best Western (smart move!). Patti & Lauren bunked with her on Saturday. Ethan had his first camping overnight with Dad Friday night. We went to Indiana Beach, went for rides on the boat Mike borrowed from friend Vikki. Michael learned how to water ski and on Monday Michael and Lauren had perfect conditions for tubing. Smores were made at the campfire (when it didn't rain). Kevin made a great breakfast one morning at the campsite, Mark the next. Katie and Andy abandoned their tent to sleep in the van. (Dry & bugfree!) Mark & Kathy brought a camper (where Nichole & Jacob bunked also) Nancy went to the hotel on Sunday night- enough of the wet conditions (allergies were raging for her and Cindy). In fact, the Flanigan family had to leave because of Cindy not feeling well. DARN! Had nice visits with Mom and Dale.
